Ingredients:
2 Cups cooked Chickpeas, drained (or 1 can drained Chickpeas with reserved liquid)
1/4-1/2 Cup Reserved bean liquid
1 tsp. Garlic Powder
1 tsp. Smoked Paprika
1 T. Squeezed Orange Juice
1 Medium to Large baked Sweet Potato ( baked soft and peeled and cut in quarters)
Directions:
Mix the ingredients together in a blender or food processor until smooth. Gradually add the bean liquid, adding more as needed to preferred consistency. Chill in the refrigerator to allow flavors to blend.
Serving Suggestions: Serve with chips, crackers or your favorite raw vegetables. Hummus is great on pita bread or soft tortilla shells for tacos or burritos. Just spread it on and add your favorite toppings.
