These are perfect for brunch buffets, potlucks, big game day or any day. Marinating the bacon is the hardest part of this recipe, which is not at all difficult, and a couple of minutes of hands on time, then refrigerated to marinate overnight. Because of the marinating you'll need to plan at least a day ahead or you can marinate fresh bacon and freeze it to use at any time. Just thaw when ready to use.

Ingredients
1 pound Thick Sliced Bacon
1 pound sausage links (any flavor of choice)
2-3 T. Maple Extract
4 T. Brown Sugar
Supplies:
Basting Brush
Serving Toothpicks
Directions:
Prepare the bacon 24 hours ahead of time. Wrap each sausage with one slice of bacon. Place on a cooking tray, and bake at 350 degrees, turning to cook all sides. When done and crisp, remove from the oven. Slice in bite size pieces and serve with toothpicks.
