2 C. Chicken Broth
1/2 C. Flour
1/2 C. finely chopped or shredded cooked skinless chicken breast
1 tsp. celery salt (or to taste)
1/2 tsp. Garlic Seasoning
1 C. Heavy Cream
1 C. Whole Milk
1 1/2 T. Clear gel (Cornstarch can be used if preferred, unless canning)
Mix the Clear Gel with 1/2 cup of the cream or milk until dissolved. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan, simmer until the mixture thickens to preferred consistency. Adjust the salt or other seasoning, if using a commercial brand broth.
NOTE: If canning or freezing the creamed soup, Clear Gel is the best option versus Cornstarch, it holds together without separating. Cornstarch is fine if making to use right away.
