Makes 1 1/2 cups soothing body wash
1 C. Epsom Salts
1/2 Cup Himalayan Seas Salt (medium grain)
2 T. Sage Leaves (fresh or dried)
3 or 4 Nasturtium blossoms or Calendula petals (fresh or dried)
Funnel
Container
Mix the ingredients together and with a funnel pour into a sealable mason jar, or masculine mug for gift giving. Top with sage sprigs and nasturtium blossoms.
To Use: Add 1/3 cup to warm bath water. Soak 15 to 20 minutes to allow the minerals to penetrate the muscles and skin pores.
Note: This can be used as a hand scrub. Wet hands under warm water, add 1/2 Tablespoon to the palm of the hand and rub hands together, especially in areas that are dried and chapped. Rinse with warm water.
A few drops of essential oils may be added If desired, however I found the mixture to have a pleasant manly fragrance without the need to add any other enhancements.
Sage may soothe sunburn pain while the salts help heal sunburn.
