1/2 pound thin sliced marinated beef (see the link below for velveting the beef)
1 can black beans (un-drained)
1/2 tsp grated fresh gingerroot
1/2 tsp. grated Orange Rind
1/8 tsp. red Pepper flakes
1 garlic clove (grated)
Noodles (cooked)
Grate the ginger, garlic and orange rind. Add the red pepper flakes, Place the beans with liquid into a small sauce pan. Add the spices and 1 T. soy sauce. Bring to a boil then turn the heat to simmer 20 minutes. Add the marinated beef and continue cooking until the beef is cooked through.
Serving Suggestion: Serve over noodles or rice. Add onions, and sweet peppers or Broccoli for color if desired.
