Makes approximately 4 T. Seasoning Mix
1/2 tsp. Cayenne Pepper (or to taste)
3 tsp. Smoked Paprika
1 T. Minced Garlic
1 T. Minced Onion
1 tsp. Garlic Powder
1 tsp. Dried Oregano
1 tsp. Dried Thyme
1 tsp. Celery Seed
1/2 tsp. rubbed sage (or savory)
Pinch Red Pepper Flakes
Pinch Salt (or to taste)
1/8 tsp White Pepper ( or to taste)
The recipe can be multiplied and stored in air tight container. Always adjust to your own tastes, If there is an ingredient you do not enjoy either omit or substitute with an herb or spice you do like.
Uses: Use as a meat rub, or in Jambalaya*
