Perfect for a Santa treat or definitely Christmas morning for the kidlets to enjoy.

8 slices thick bread (day old works best)
Basic Eggnog recipe* (or store-bought eggnog)
Strawberries and blueberries (can use frozen)
Whipped Cream (homemade or purchased)
Chocolate syrup (or chocolate chips)
Oil
Use left over eggnog or prepare the basic Eggnog recipe. Slice strawberries for the hat. Whip heavy cream, adding a 1/4 tsp. sugar to form stiff peaks. Place each bread slice in the eggnog, turning to coat both sides. Allow a little eggnog to absorb in the bread. Place the oiled skillet on medium heat cook the french toast until brown on one side and turn to brown the other side. Place the french toast at an angle on the plate. Place the strawberries on one corner of the french toast. Add blueberries for the eyes, or a couple drops of chocolate syrup for the eyes and a slice of strawberry for a mouth and nose. Spread Whipped cream for the beard, the bottom edge of the strawberry hat and a dollop for the top of his strawberry hat. (Refer to photos for placement) Serve warm.
